For example, GE utilizes photovoltaic technology in a Roof Integrated Tile system to add solar energy to homes.

Other contributions: For water, Ecomagination's role in advancing water reuse and purification resulted in an advanced membrane technology. An example of Ecomagination's role in transportation includes the China Mainline Evolution locomotive, which reduces emissions and runs more efficiently than other locomotives in China.
